[BOOK 76] KATHLEEN BARACH: THE LAST CAROUSEL - CITY PARK, NEW ORLEANS. [1991] (13x18cm - 42 Pages - Few B&W and colour photos). A small booklet detailing the history of the City Park Carousel. As you push open the wrought iron gate and step into a garden interlaced with brick walks and fragrant with jasmine, you see the strange, enchanting light that seems to come from a multifaceted jewel. As you draw closer you discover that the jewel is a carousel, a glittering, twirling gem of a carousel with lights and gold and stained glass windows, with spirited horses and a ferocious lion, calling, inviting.
